3. hosting and server log files

Our blog is published at Hostinger International Ltd. (61 Lordou Vironos Str., 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus). Each time you access our blog, information transmitted by your browser is automatically stored in server log files. These include: IP address, date and time, page accessed, referrer URL and browser and operating system information. This processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in the secure and stable provision of our online services. We have concluded an order processing contract (AVV) with Hostinger.

a) Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager from Google Ireland Limited. We use this tool to manage website tags. The Tag Manager itself does not process any personal data, but does record your IP address. It is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in the efficient management of our website services (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

b) Google Analytics

If you have given your consent, we use Google Analytics. This service from Google Ireland Limited uses cookies to analyse your user behaviour. We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymisationwhich shortens your IP address before it is transmitted to the USA. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). Data transfers to the USA are protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which Google is certified.

6. other plugins and services

  • Google Fonts (Local): To protect your privacy, all Google fonts are loaded from our own server. There is no data transfer to Google.
  • Blog2Social: To share posts on social networks. Post data is transferred to the respective platform (legitimate interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
  • UpdraftPlus - Backup/restore: To secure our website. Backups may contain personal data and are stored on secure systems (legitimate interest in data security, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
  • SEO and optimisation plugins: Various plugins for search engine optimisation generally work locally on our server and do not pass on any personal data.

7 Our social media presence

We operate profiles on social networks in order to inform and interact. When you visit these profiles, your data is collected and processed by the respective provider, over which we have only limited influence. We are often jointly responsible with the platform operator for data processing on our pages. Our legitimate interest in the use of these channels forms the legal basis (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

9. storage period
